Default Options
Default Options is a Minecraft Java Edition utility mod designed for modpack creators who want to provide ready to use settings without replacing a player’s personal configuration. It can distribute default video, audio, gameplay, resource pack, and keybinding choices through a dedicated defaultoptions folder instead of bundling options.txt.
Defaults are applied when settings are missing, while existing player changes remain intact during modpack updates. The mod can also prepare a multiplayer server list and supports Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. For a polished Minecraft server experience, BoxToPlay recommends it as a practical way to standardize first launch settings without limiting player customization.
