Hawk Anticheat is a free security plugin for a Minecraft server running Spigot with Minecraft 1.7.10 or 1.8.8. It compares player movement and protocol behavior with vanilla game logic, helping staff identify unfair modifications without disrupting normal gameplay through artificial entities or forced knockback.
Its configurable checks can flag suspicious actions and, in some cases, resynchronize or set back a player. Hawk is open source under GPL version 3.0, but it is no longer actively developed and does not support versions 1.9 or later.
