Hardcore Hearts is a Spigot plugin that makes players’ health bar display Minecraft’s distinctive hardcore hearts, even when the server is running in regular survival mode. The effect is handled on the client side, so it changes the visual presentation without altering health, damage, death rules, or other gameplay mechanics.

Designed for Minecraft versions 1.17 to 1.21.11, it adds an immediate hardcore atmosphere to any Minecraft server. Administrators can enable or disable the display with the /hardcorehearts toggle command.
