GAC, or Guardian AntiCheat, is a Spigot anti cheat plugin designed to protect a Minecraft server from unfair gameplay. Released as an alpha project for Minecraft 1.9, it monitors movement, combat, and chat. Its checks cover Fly, Step, HighJump, Jesus, NoFall, Spider, SpeedHack, Timer, KillAura, Reach, ClickAimbot, Criticals, FastBow, and anti spam behavior.
GAC analyzes movement vectors and player distance, while its forcefield detection uses invisible bot entities to identify suspicious attacks. Staff can receive alerts through permissions and use commands for help, forcefield checks, and ping information. Its last recorded update was in May 2017, making it best suited to compatible legacy servers. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a simple protection tool for older Spigot communities.
