CustomPayloadFixer, protection for BungeeCord and Bukkit or Spigot

CustomPayloadFixer is a security plugin for a Minecraft server running BungeeCord, Bukkit, or Spigot. It targets a packet exploit that abused CustomPayload channels such as MC|BSign, MC|BEdit, and REGISTER, sending repeated or malformed book data that could overload and crash older servers.

On Bukkit and Spigot, it limits suspicious packets to one every 100 milliseconds and checks for corrupted NBT tags. Administrators can configure whether detected players are kicked or trigger a ban command. ProtocolLib is required on Bukkit or Spigot, and the project is mainly intended for Minecraft 1.8 through 1.11. BoxToPlay helps keep this defensive layer convenient for a protected Minecraft server.
