Lifesteal, a simple SMP plugin
Lifesteal is a Java Edition Minecraft server plugin for Bukkit, Paper, and Spigot, compatible with Minecraft 1.21.x. It turns player combat into a high stakes survival challenge: when one player kills another, the winner gains a heart while the victim loses one. Heart items can be claimed, traded, crafted, or withdrawn, while fragments and custom recipes add useful progression.
The plugin includes configurable heart limits, a life ban when a player dies with one heart, and a revive system using Revive Stars. Admins can adjust health values, recipes, item text, and revive settings. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a straightforward way to create a tense, competitive SMP experience.

How to add Lifesteal to your Minecraft server
