IPLogin is a lightweight Minecraft plugin that restricts server access by matching player usernames with trusted IP addresses. It is designed for Paper and Purpur servers and offers a simple way to control who can connect.
On a Minecraft server, the plugin associates each player with their first IP address and checks it during future connections. Administrators can allow specific addresses, permit alternate accounts, filter usernames, and choose whether suspicious players are kicked or banned. A configurable logger records decisions, reasons, times, and related IP details. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a useful extra security layer, although changing addresses or VPNs can reduce its protection.
