DisplayPing is a Java Edition utility plugin for Bukkit based Minecraft servers, including Paper, Spigot, and Purpur. It shows every player’s numerical ping in milliseconds beside their nametag and in the tab list, making connection quality visible without requiring modified clients.
By default, the display refreshes every 10 seconds, with the interval adjustable in the configuration. When latency exceeds 100 ms, the value turns red to signal a weaker connection. A dedicated TAB API version is available for servers using the TAB plugin. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a lightweight way to improve clarity and communication on a busy Minecraft server.
