CheckHacks, server side cheat detection

CheckHacks is a Java Edition anticheat plugin designed to identify client side mods and hack clients on a Minecraft server without requiring anything on the player’s side. It uses a sign translation vulnerability to send hidden translation keys, briefly trigger the sign editor, and compare the response returned by vanilla and modified clients.

The plugin supports manual and automatic checks, several detection modes, customizable mod lists, alerts, Discord webhooks, language checks, SQLite records, and integrations with selected anticheat plugins. It can report detected, clean, protected, or skipped results. At BoxToPlay, it adds an extra verification layer for administrators seeking a fairer Minecraft server, although patched clients may reduce detection reliability.
