ChatColor, colourful chat for Minecraft servers

ChatColor is a Java Edition plugin for Bukkit and Spigot that lets players personalise the appearance of their chat messages. It supports the classic Minecraft palette, hexadecimal colours with more than 16 million possibilities, plus rainbow and gradient effects. Players can also apply bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, or obfuscated styles, making conversations more expressive and helping different communities stand out.

For server owners, ChatColor adds permission controls, group based colours, saved custom presets, a configurable selection GUI, editable messages, and MySQL or MariaDB support for synchronised settings across multiple servers.
