Vault Patcher is a technical Minecraft Java mod that converts hard coded text inside selected mods into localization strings. It works as a library and utility rather than adding blocks, items, mobs, recipes, or new gameplay systems. By redirecting fixed text toward language entries, it can help names, descriptions, interface messages, and other mod text follow Minecraft’s active language.

It supports Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt on both client and server. In a multilingual modpack or Minecraft server, its effect is mostly invisible but helps create clearer, more consistent text.
