Tax Free Levels is a Minecraft Java mod that makes experience costs for anvils and enchantment tables more consistent. Instead of becoming increasingly expensive as your experience level rises, operations use a flatter cost based on the experience required for the action. This makes repairing, combining, and enchanting equipment much more manageable during long survival sessions.
The mod can also remove the anvil’s “Too Expensive!” limit and sets item renaming to a simple cost of 1 level. Designed for client and server use, it supports Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.
