Sodium Shadowy Path Blocks, or SSPB, is an individual Minecraft Java mod for the client side, designed to work with Sodium on Fabric, Quilt, or NeoForge. It restores vanilla like smooth lighting on non full blocks, bringing back the darker shading that can appear where dirt paths meet full blocks.

The mod can affect paths, farmland, slabs, stairs, and fences, while settings let you adjust shadow strength, limit the effect to paths, or use vanilla accurate lighting for path blocks. With smooth lighting enabled, it adds depth to builds without changing gameplay.
