Scaling Health is a Forge mod for Minecraft Java Edition that reshapes survival difficulty by adjusting player and mob health. Players can begin with more or less than the usual hearts, gain maximum health through heart crystals, and optionally scale health with experience. A configurable difficulty value can rise over time, after deaths, or through mob kills, making creatures tougher with extra health, attack damage, potion effects, and possible blights.
Its extensive configuration and datapack support suit custom modpacks and a cooperative Minecraft server. On BoxToPlay, we recommend it for progression focused worlds seeking flexible challenge. The project supports Forge versions through 1.20.1 and is no longer maintained for 1.21 onward.
