Random Village Names is a lightweight Minecraft mod that gives each naturally generated village a unique name selected from a preset list. The name appears on a sign placed near the village center and is displayed through the Areas mod, creating a clearer sense of place during exploration.
Players can remove the sign, replace it with a custom name, or erase the name entirely with an empty sign. The /areas command also helps locate nearby named areas. Supporting Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt on client and server, it is a charming addition to any Minecraft server, including those managed with BoxToPlay.
