Name Tag Tweaks is a lightweight Minecraft mod that expands how name tags work while preserving a familiar survival experience. It adds a crafting recipe for name tags and introduces the /nametag command, allowing players to assign or change a name without using an anvil.

Named entities can also drop their name tag when they die, with the stored name preserved by default. Configuration options let you adjust the command and dropped tag behavior.
