Isle of Berk Variant Loader is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.18.2 and the Isle of Berk dragon mod. It adds a flexible, data driven system for creating and managing dragon variants through resource packs and data packs. Creators can define custom spawns, breeding pools, inheritance rules, hitboxes, passenger positions, and variant names without changing the base mod files.
The mod also supports model, animation, saddle texture, egg texture, and glowing layer redirects. Eggs can store variant data, while nametags can display or select variants, adding depth to breeding and collection on a Minecraft server. With client and server support, our BoxToPlay experience makes this tool valuable for highly customized Isle of Berk gameplay.
