Cobblemon Better Pokedex Scanner is a utility mod that greatly enriches Cobblemon’s standard Pokédex scanner. It displays forms, regional variants, genders, shiny status, types, and level threat indicators, helping players understand encounters at a glance. Scans can also reveal information from occupied Pokéballs and restoration tanks, including Pokémon details and progress.

The scanner reads the surrounding environment, with data about biomes, dimensions, weather, lighting, terrain, moon phases, beehives, Slowpoke tails, and selected non Pokémon entities.
