Sharemarket, a Virtual Stock Exchange

Sharemarket is a classic Bukkit plugin that brings a virtual stock exchange to a Minecraft server. Players can buy and sell virtual shares linked to resources, using the server’s economy to speculate on changing prices and build their in game wealth. It adds a different kind of progression, focused on observation, timing, and risk management rather than mining alone.

Share values are calculated from block destruction rates during a defined period, together with player buying and selling activity. Administrators can also configure variable shares, allowing almost any suitable block to become a tradable asset.
