Developer’s note: A datapack to be used on later versions of 1.16.5 Pixelmon. The datapack fixes Zombie Gyarados's evolution by giving it an identical Roasted palette that looks identical, and any pre-existing Gyarados with the real palette will not be affected.

Zombie Gyarados Fix for Pixelmon

Zombie Gyarados Fix is a Minecraft datapack designed for later Pixelmon releases on Minecraft 1.16.5. It addresses an evolution issue where a Roasted Magikarp may become a regular Gyarados instead of receiving the special Zombie Gyarados appearance.

The datapack assigns the evolved Pokémon an identical Roasted palette, restoring the expected visual result without changing how it looks in play.
