Villager Taxes, a daily emerald economy

Villager Taxes is a Minecraft data pack that adds a simple village tax system, creating a steady alternative way to collect emeralds. In a village, place a barrel and put a bell directly above it, then throw an emerald onto the barrel to consecrate it as a Tax Crate.

After activation, every villager with a profession in that village contributes one emerald to the crate each day. This mechanic gives villages a more meaningful economic role and works especially well on a cooperative Minecraft server.
