R.I.P. Renamed Items Persist is a practical Minecraft datapack that changes how dropped items behave after being renamed in an anvil. In vanilla gameplay, a named item can still disappear when its normal despawn timer expires. This datapack regularly checks item entities for a custom name and resets their age, allowing them to remain in the world instead of vanishing after a few minutes.
