Developer’s note: Java PvP Core v1.0(by YTAUN) brings Minecraft Java combat mechanics (cooldowns, sweep attacks, crits) to Bedrock 1.21+. It auto-detects vanilla weapons and provides an API for custom addons.

Java PvP Core for Bedrock

Java PvP Core is a Minecraft Bedrock add on by YTAUN that recreates Java Edition combat for Minecraft 1.21 and later. It introduces attack cooldowns, charge based damage, sweep attacks, critical hits, and armor toughness, making sword and axe fights more deliberate and skill focused. A visual cooldown bar helps players time each strike instead of relying on rapid clicking.

The pack automatically recognizes vanilla weapons, including swords, axes, tridents, maces, pickaxes, shovels, and hoes, while its integration API lets other add ons assign custom weapon values. Multiplayer support makes it suitable for a competitive Minecraft server, and the achievements friendly design helps preserve a more vanilla experience with BoxToPlay.
