ViaRewind for Velocity

ViaRewind is a Velocity proxy plugin from the ViaVersion project that extends protocol compatibility for Java Edition. Used alongside ViaVersion and ViaBackwards, it lets players using Minecraft 1.7.x or 1.8.x join a Minecraft server running a later version, without forcing everyone onto the same client.

It translates older protocol elements, including entities, metadata, items, particles, combat feedback, the offhand command, and world border behavior, while offering configuration options for legacy gameplay. Select your version

Select the version of ViaRewind you want installed on your Velocity proxy.

Check your cart

You go directly to your cart with the Velocity plan and selected version of ViaRewind already included. Check that everything is correct before continuing.

Receive your proxy

Wait while your Velocity proxy is built and delivered. Installation of your selected ViaRewind version starts during setup. Once it is ready, connect your servers and enjoy.
