Version Separator is a lightweight Velocity plugin for Minecraft Java Edition networks that routes players to a registered backend according to the protocol version used by their client. Instead of sending every newcomer to the same destination, it can direct different game versions toward dedicated servers, such as a modded instance or a server running a particular release.

Its TOML configuration links protocol numbers with server names declared in velocity.toml, making version based routing simple to manage. It supports Minecraft 1.20.x and 1.21 to 1.21.1. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a practical server management tool for organized multi version networks.
