STFU, a Velocity plugin for quieter networks

STFU is a utility plugin for a Java Edition Minecraft server network running through Velocity. It reduces chat clutter caused when players change backend servers, while preserving meaningful notifications when someone actually joins or leaves the proxy network. The Velocity component broadcasts those network wide events, and its companion Paper plugin, STHU, suppresses the vanilla join and leave messages on connected servers.

This separation keeps transfers discreet without hiding genuine arrivals or departures. With support for Minecraft 1.19 through 1.21.4, our BoxToPlay team recommends it for multi server communities seeking a cleaner, more consistent chat experience.
