MiniMOTD is a lightweight Velocity proxy plugin that customizes the MOTD shown in the Minecraft server list. It uses MiniMessage formatting, letting administrators create colorful text with RGB colors, gradients, decorations, and other visual effects without changing gameplay.

It can also randomize MOTD messages, display adjusted player counts, and choose server icons, helping a network look more polished before players connect. RGB colors are automatically downsampled for older clients, while compatible versions can display the full effect.
