LanServers is a lightweight Velocity proxy plugin for Minecraft Java Edition that makes your Minecraft server appear in the Multiplayer menu as a LAN server. It recreates the discovery behavior used when a single player world is opened to the local network, allowing nearby players to spot the proxy without adding its address manually.
The plugin periodically broadcasts the server’s port and MOTD through multicast, every 1.5 seconds, and has no configuration file or gameplay commands. It is designed to stay simple and broadly compatible, supporting Velocity and many Minecraft versions. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for local events, testing sessions, or private networks where quick discovery matters.
