Impulse is a Velocity proxy plugin designed to create, start, and stop backend Minecraft servers as players need them. When someone connects to an inactive destination, the configured instance can be launched and registered with the proxy. Once the server becomes empty, Impulse can stop it automatically, helping reduce unnecessary resource usage.

Its broker system supports several deployment methods, including Docker and standalone server JAR files, while unmanaged servers can continue running alongside it.
