dpt, Dynamic PTerodactyl

dpt is a Velocity plugin that connects a Minecraft proxy to the Pterodactyl Panel API, allowing selected Minecraft servers to start or stop when needed. It is especially useful for networks with minigames or secondary modes that do not need to run continuously.

When a server is ready, dpt can transfer one player, everyone on the proxy, or players from a chosen server, either immediately or through an interactive prompt. Configurable startup delays, idle watchdogs, commands, and permissions help control resource usage and access. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a practical way to make a Minecraft server network more responsive and economical.

How to add dpt to your Velocity proxy

Select your version

Select the version of dpt you want installed on your Velocity proxy.
