Yamler, a practical YAML configuration API

Yamler is a developer focused API for Bukkit and Spigot, designed to make YAML configuration files easier to load, edit, and save on a Minecraft server. Rather than relying on Bukkit’s standard configuration system, it maps Java objects directly to YAML data, giving plugin authors a clear structure for settings and persistent information.

Developers create a configuration class extending Yamler’s Config class, define supported fields, choose the file and optional header, then call init to load data or save to write changes. For our BoxToPlay audience, it provides a practical foundation for organized, maintainable server plugins.
