Carbon, 1.8 content for older Spigot servers

Carbon is a legacy Java plugin that brings much of Minecraft 1.8’s content to a Spigot 1.7.10 server. It was designed for server owners who wanted to preserve an older setup while adding newer blocks, items, mobs, structures, and gameplay mechanics.

The plugin includes features such as guardian and rabbit behavior, improved structure support, slime block interactions, the 1.8 world generator, and rotatable item frames. Protocol compatibility helps older clients connect, although 1.7 players may not see every 1.8 block correctly. Carbon is best suited to historic or experimental Minecraft server projects, including those managed with BoxToPlay, and is no longer actively supported.
