CustomWorldHeight is a Paper plugin that lets server administrators redefine a Minecraft world’s vertical boundaries. It can raise or limit the total height, choose a minimum Y coordinate, and set a logical height for mechanics such as Chorus Fruit teleportation. World specific settings and regular expression matching make it possible to target individual worlds or groups of worlds.
It suits creative construction, unusual terrain generation, gameplay experiments, and carefully tuned server performance. Expanding an existing world is generally safer, while reducing its height can erase data and changing the minimum Y may affect newly generated chunks. Our BoxToPlay team recommends treating these settings as structural world changes on your Minecraft server.
