Nameplate, Health Based Mob Levels

Nameplate is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition that displays a level above mobs, calculated from their health. This visual nameplate gives players an immediate idea of a creature’s strength, making encounters easier to assess during exploration, combat, and progression focused gameplay.

Designed for both client and server environments, it fits naturally into RPG modpacks and a Minecraft server where enemy difficulty matters. It can be paired with a base mod such as RpgDifficulty to support more meaningful scaling. At BoxToPlay, we consider it a practical utility for adding clearer combat feedback without changing the core survival experience.
