Enchancement, a complete enchanting overhaul

Enchancement is a Minecraft mod for Java Edition that reimagines the vanilla enchanting system and several related mechanics. It introduces 34 unique enchantments, focused on active abilities rather than simple statistical bonuses, adding new possibilities for combat, movement, exploration, and resource gathering.

The mod replaces random enchantment choices with a more deliberate system where players select their desired effects, use chiseled bookshelves and enchanted books, and pay material costs linked to the item. Configurable rules can also affect enchantment levels, durability, equipment, mobs, and projectiles. With support for Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge on both client and server, Enchancement brings fresh progression to any Minecraft server, including those managed by BoxToPlay.
