Dark Matter, a Fabric library mod

Dark Matter is a technical library for Minecraft Java Edition on Fabric. It does not add a standalone progression system, blocks, or items. Instead, it provides reusable tools and patches that help other mods expand the game more efficiently.

Its modules cover content registration, enum extensions, recipe book utilities, screen particles, fake client worlds, instrumentation access, and other developer focused features. The mod works on both client and server environments across several Minecraft versions, including 1.16.5 through 1.21.1. Archived and licensed under MIT, it is mainly useful as a dependency in modpacks or on a Minecraft server. At BoxToPlay, it can support smoother modpack setup behind the scenes.
