KH Thirst is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that adds a visible thirst bar and temperature gauge to the actionbar. Designed for a Minecraft server or single player world, it makes survival more demanding without requiring client mods. Water management, biome temperatures, day and night cycles, weather, shade, elevation, and contact with water all influence the player’s condition.

Walking, sprinting, jumping, swimming, and attacking consume thirst, while dehydration can cause hunger, Slowness, Mining Fatigue, and damage. Hot or cold foods modify temperature, and dirty water must be treated before drinking. BoxToPlay makes this immersive survival system easy to include in your server experience, with adjustable difficulty levels from relaxed to extreme.
