Cardinal Components API for modular data
Cardinal Components API is a lightweight library mod for Fabric and Quilt that lets other mods attach custom data to almost any Minecraft object, from players and entities to chunks and items. Instead of reinventing complex storage systems, developers plug into this component system and keep their logic clean, consistent, and fast.
It is often required as a dependency on a modded Minecraft server or solo world, since many gameplay mods rely on it to save abilities, stats, energy or progress. On our BoxToPlay infrastructure, this foundation helps large modpacks stay stable and easier to maintain across multiple Minecraft versions.
