Permanent Ghastlings is a utility Minecraft Java datapack that keeps Happy Ghasts in their adorable baby Ghastling form. Affected creatures cannot mature when named Ghastling, Baby Ghast, Happy Ghast, Baby Happy Ghast, or Ghast, and feeding them snowballs no longer advances their growth. The effect also works retroactively on Happy Ghasts that have already grown, although they lose their harness when returned to baby form.
Rename the creature to remove the restriction and restore normal growth, including its harness. Designed for Minecraft versions 1.21.6 through 1.21.11, this paused project adds a charming decorative feature to any Minecraft server, as we at BoxToPlay know well.
