Pommel is a Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition that lets resource pack creators replace the appearance of items while they are held, recreating the special first person and third person presentation used by the spyglass and trident. It works with vanilla and modded items, making tools, weapons, food, or magical equipment look convincingly three dimensional without changing their inventory icons.

Through custom model predicates, packs can react to hand position, offhand use, item use, enchantments, frames, ground display, and other contexts.
