Head in the Clouds is a Minecraft mod for Java Edition that makes weather behave more naturally at altitude. When a player rises above the configured cloud level, the client displays clear skies instead of rain.
With the mod present on both sides of a Minecraft server, rain dependent mechanics also stop above the clouds, including fire extinguishing, Riptide trident use, and accelerated crop growth. Because servers do not know the visual cloud height automatically, that value must be defined in configuration. Supporting Fabric, NeoForge, and Quilt across multiple game versions, it offers a focused atmospheric improvement. Our BoxToPlay experience makes this server enhancement easy to enjoy.
