AntiFire is a Bukkit plugin that gives you precise control over how fire behaves on your Minecraft server. It can block fire spread, cancel fire and lava damage to blocks, players, and mobs, and log every ignition event with location details, making grief tracking far easier. You can configure rules per world, choose which block types are fireproof, and even control how long different fire sources burn.
