Async Locator is a performance focused mod that moves structure and feature searches to asynchronous threads, so your Minecraft server no longer freezes when using locate commands, explorer maps, dolphins treasure or stronghold searches. Instead of blocking the main game loop, it processes these tasks in the background, keeping TPS smooth even on exploration heavy worlds.

Compatible with several modern Minecraft versions and usable on both Fabric and Forge, it is a server side utility that also benefits singleplayer. On BoxToPlay, we use it to offer exploration friendly worlds where players can spam locate or cartographer maps without punishing everyone’s gameplay.
