Mobs Drop Eggs is a Minecraft Java datapack that gives defeated mobs a small chance to drop their own spawn egg, making rare creatures easier to collect and reuse on a Minecraft server. The system works through the Looting enchantment, adding a rewarding purpose to combat and mob farming.

Looting I provides a 2% chance, Looting II raises it to 3.5%, and Looting III reaches 5%. The datapack can complement selected loot table changes, while its separate Grief addon focuses on powerful mobs such as the Warden, Ravager, Wither, and Ender Dragon.
