Fruit Bat Origin is a Minecraft datapack add on for the Origins mod that lets players become a small, fruit eating bat with a distinctive nocturnal playstyle. It supports Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.20 through 1.20.6 and requires Pehkui for its size changing feature.

Feed on fruit, flowers, and nectar, fly with a boost, reveal nearby entities through glowing senses, and gain better vision in darkness. Nighttime resistance and regeneration in warm biomes add useful strengths, while hunger, sunlight, cold areas, and low health keep the origin balanced. Its disease spreading attacks can inflict poison, wither, or hunger on attackers, creating memorable teamwork and combat moments on a Minecraft server.
