Connection Guard is a free Java Edition plugin designed to protect a Minecraft server from unwanted connections. It checks incoming players for VPNs and proxies through several detection providers, helping reduce ban evasion, bots, and suspicious access. Its asynchronous checks limit the impact on server performance, while adjustable strictness helps balance security and false positives.

Administrators can use country whitelists or blacklists covering more than 200 countries, then kick players, notify staff, run commands, or send Discord webhooks.
