MobRider, Ride and Control Mobs

MobRider is a legacy Bukkit plugin that gives saddles a much more entertaining purpose on a Minecraft server. Players can mount animals, monsters, and even other players, then guide their ride with a configurable fishing rod control item or simple commands.

The plugin supports movement, following, attacking, stopping, faster travel, feeding mounts to restore health, automatic protection, and configurable spawn egg rewards after dismounting. Mounting chances and economy costs can also be adjusted, while optional integrations extend navigation through regions, NPCs, factions, and portals. At BoxToPlay, we recommend MobRider for playful roleplay and unusual server adventures, although some creatures, including ghasts, slimes, magma cubes, and the Ender Dragon, cannot be controlled.
