Botany, natural plant regrowth for Minecraft servers

Botany is a legacy Bukkit plugin that helps landscapes recover naturally after players harvest or damage vegetation. Plants return gradually according to their biome and configured density, allowing grass, ferns, flowers, saplings, and trees to repopulate the environment without constant manual replanting. The result is a more dynamic and living wilderness.

Administrators can enable Botany for selected worlds, review growth statistics, scan nearby areas, and customize plant definitions through the plants.csv file. Tree planting, saplings, cacti, density, and protection settings are configurable. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for suitable older setups seeking a more organic Minecraft server experience.
