Armored Elytra is a Fabric datapack and server side utility that lets players combine any chestplate with an elytra, so they can fly without giving up armor protection. It is designed for Minecraft servers and also works in singleplayer, making mobility and defense feel seamless in survival and SMP play. We at BoxToPlay see it as a practical quality of life upgrade for combat and exploration.
The pack supports forging in an anvil and splitting in a grindstone, which makes the pair reversible. It is compatible with Minecraft 1.21.x and focuses on a simple, vanilla friendly experience.
