vAuth, Offline Server Verification

vAuth is an authentication plugin for Bukkit based Minecraft servers running in offline mode. It adds registration and login protection, allowing players to claim usernames with passwords before accessing gameplay. Until verification, movement and selected actions can be restricted, helping prevent impersonation, griefing, and unauthorized access to valuable accounts.

The plugin includes encrypted password storage, configurable messages, language support, multiworld login handling, username verification, and extra protection for operator commands such as /op and /deop. With BoxToPlay, our Minecraft server setup can use this classic security layer to create a more controlled entry experience, especially for legacy server versions.
